I am a Canadian linguist, teacher, and language enthusiast. I moved to the Netherlands in 2008, to pursue a PhD in Ancient Greek syntax. After completing my studies, I decided to stay in Holland, mainly because of its interesting mix of conservative and liberal cultural values, the possibility to live a relatively sustainable lifestyle, and the beautiful Dutch skies. The Netherlands is also rich in languages, hosting speakers of many languages of the world.
Research Interests: Syntactic variation, Historical syntax, Indo-European languages.
General interests: Sustainability, Agriculture, Music.
